Join along on a guided tour of our homestead. We will introduce you to our animals, provide teaching opportunities about our plants, animals and property, and of course there will be plenty of time for feeding and interacting with the animals.
Tickets for children under 12 and seniors over 65 are half priced
We can bring our animals to you! If you work for a school, senior center, or somewhere similar and you’re interested in our assortment of ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys, huskies, rabbits a parrot and a tortoise coming to you for an educational presentation, we are available!
*We can do both indoor or outdoor setups. We need about a 10×20 ft area to set up. We provide our own shade canopy tents, fans, water, temporary fences, etc.
Outdoors- We prefer to set up on dirt or grass if possible!
Indoors- We will provide protective floor coverings to ensure the cleanliness of your facility!
Note: To keep our animals well-rested and to tailer each presentation, we will bring a rotating selection of animals to each visit!

What’s included:
-45-60 minute guided animal experience. Meet, greet, feed, and interact with a wide array of our friendly animals.
-60 minute party time. Reserved time for cake, food, or other festivities. We will remain on site to ensure everything runs smoothly!
Important details:
-Events are held outdoors on our working homestead. Shade and canopy tents will be provided. (We are working on building a gazebo, we appreciate your patience!)
-Outdoor events are subject to weather. In the event of severe weather, we are happy to help you reschedule.
-All children must be supervised by adults at all times.

We believe in sustainability, and our number one goal at the homestead is to teach others how to stay self reliant by growing their own food, caring for animals, and learning how to build and care for an ecosystem!

With my background as a veterinary assistant, years of personal animal experience, and the help of my family, we know our animals and property inside and out!

We enjoy the country life. We spend lots of time outside. If you’re looking for an outdoor oasis for the family, you’ve found it!

Supplies permitting, we absolutely love to give out fresh farm goodies at the end of every event!

We all congregate under the gazebo while we wait for everyone to arrive. Snacks, water, sunscreen and bug spray will be available here!

We will begin our tour at the tortoise enclosure. Participants can feed or pet her.
Following Dozer is the rabbits. Same as Dodo, participants may feed and pet them (if they’re willing, they’re a little skittish)

Next in line are the beehives. We won’t be getting close, but we do have several facts about them to share.
We also have 19 guinea fowl and 2 turkeys. They do free roam, but their hutch is near the rabbits. We are planning on adding some goats to this area very shortly!

Once we finish with the birds, we will be walking through a small fruit orchard. Feel free to pick a few to bring home, baskets are available for $5!
At the end of the orchard are the ducks. Entering their enclosure is allowed, but they aren’t the most cuddly of creatures. They are fun to watch though! Feeding the ducks of course is an available option.

The ducks are currently the end of the line. I would very much like to add some mini donkeys to this part of the tour in the future, but we have other things to tend to first unfortunately. We do have many wild birds that like to congregate near the exit!

Riley McNeill
Riley is a lifelong animal lover. She is the owner and operations manager of Hidden Acre Ranch. After attending Pima Medical Institute for their veterinary assistant program, she began building the homestead from the ground up!
Ember
Ember is emotional support. He will be attending most tours/presentations either in a carrier or with a harness. He has a severe case of FOMO, so he’s usually around.
